About Me

D. Gudger
Colorado, United States
I'm a freelance writer, author, color guard director and mom. I've written a novel for young adults obsessed with the sport of the arts - color guard. Set in west Denver, it's a story about a high school freshman who discovers harboring secrets can have deadly consequences. I have a MA in education but decided to pursue a writing career. Much of my time is spent at Evergreen High School, teaching a talented group of color guard students. They rock my world and I adore them! Whenever I get the chance, I escape the ick of the city into the pine-scented Rockies.
